GENERAL NOTES:

1. Photos 9, 11 and 25 were taken at Ingliston Circuit, Edinburgh.

2. Photo 7 features a Rawlson-Davrian Imp.

5. The Solo Stiletto was on display at the 2011 Classic Car Show at the NEC, Birmingham (photo 20).

6. DIS/7/052 is now in Malaysia, owned by Jagjeet Singh whose father was part of an Imp racing team with Andy Bryson and Mel (the prince).

7. The last Davrian Saloon to leave Davrian which was sprinted and hillclimbed by Terry Bass and Ian Fidoe at Shelsley Walsh (photo 27) and Gurston Down (photo 28). See additional info on the DIScussions page.

The NDR is very keen to try to produce a more accurate list of the Davrian Saloons, which unfortunately have never been particularly well documented. To this end, if you have any information which could serve to assist in this task, please do pass it on via the NDR’s e-mail address listed on this website’s homepage.

The NDR Register lists a total of 11 (12 including the Solo Stiletto) but as can been seen below, only two can be directly traced to their current owners.

There are currently seven saloons listed as of unknown origin:

From this, (as all the unknown cars are Imp-based and if we ignore the Rawlson cars and the car in Singapore) it is possibly fair to assume that five of the first six listed cars are likely to come from the following list of possible chassis numbers:

DIS/7/016, DIS/7/029, DIS/7/031, DIS/7/037 and DIS/7/043

(n.b. the ex-Terry Bass/Ian Fidoe car is known not to have been issued a chassis number) :
