Darren Mansell     :  (darren.mansell@btopenworld.com) Mk8 registered in 1972 , currently fitted with :

  • transverse 1600cc Honda engine and close-ratio gearbox
  • paddle clutch
  • Plumbed-in fire extinguisher.

The  car was restored by a student studying for a degree at the Swansea Institute and has been very tidily rewired and the engine has also undergone a fair amount of work including modifications to the head, uprated camshafts and the addition of Jenvey throttle bodies, an Emerald ECU and a 4-branch manifold.  However, the paint work is untidy and the car has not been run for sometime and will need some further work before it is ready for the road/track. I also have a historic vehicle tax-free logbook registered in my name.

I am  open to a sensible offer or may consider part-ex change WHY.

Mark Chater        :  (mark@chater.demon.co.uk) Modsports Davrian Mk7a with Mk8 front and rear bodywork. 1040cc Imp  race engine with Carter super clubman head, 0.410 cam, custom stainless combined manifold with repackable silencer and four Mikuni flat slide carbs.  Jack Knight five speed dog box with limited slip 20diff. Two sets 8" and 10"x13" three piece wheels (slicks and wets). Also included is a four-wheel trailer. £10,000 ovno.

Keith Park           :  (kppark@tiscali.co.uk)  First of the Mk7a Davrians (DI/7a/007) which Keith purchased new from Davrian and was featured on the Davrian stand at “Speedshow 75” and also on the front cover of “Hot Car” magazine. Powered by an 998cc engine with a Hartwell modified head and twin-Stromberg carbs, the car also features a heater, wind-up windows, cassette radio and has been modified with later version front bodywork and Davrian-built suspension. Included with the car are a number of spares including an 875cc engine, gearbox and all special moulds. - £4,500.
